The
Native American Indians tribe that I provided dentistry to are
called the Havasu. Their name means "People of the
Blue Green Water". Their reservation is located at the bottom
of the Grand Canyon in a village called Supai. They have beautiful
streams that run into majestic waterfalls where we used to swim
every day after work.
The
South American Indian tribe are called the Yanomomi.
They are nomadic and live around the headwaters of the Orinoco
River that feeds into the Amozon located in Venezuela. The only
health care they receive are from volunteer workers like myself.
